SEB upgrade adds a separate Buy call

Separately, SEB Equities raised its recommendation on ABB from Hold to Buy, according to StockAnalysis.com. The upgrade, reported on October 28, 2026, came with a price target of CHF 86.53, compared with CHF 78.38 previously.

Listed targets range from CHF 76 to CHF 88

UBS has the highest Swiss-franc target in the monitor's table: CHF 88 in an entry dated October 12, 2026. The monitor shows that target as 23.98% above its reference share price. RBC's October 9 entry carries a CHF 82 target and 15.53% implied upside.

Several entries sit at CHF 80, each shown as 12.71% above the reference price. Bernstein Research appears at that level on October 14 and in two entries dated October 20. Berenberg has the same target on October 20 and October 21.

Goldman Sachs is listed at CHF 79 on October 29, with implied upside of 11.30%. An undated Deutsche Bank Research entry puts its target at CHF 76, or 7.07% above the reference price. DZ Bank appears in an October 21 entry without a price target.

The table also includes an undated entry identified only as "Analyst," with a target of 82 euros and implied upside of 6.94%. That euro-denominated figure is distinct from the Swiss-franc targets listed for the named banks.

Rotork acquisition awaits regulatory approvals

ABB agreed in July 2026 to buy Rotork plc for 503 pence in cash per Rotork share, in a transaction reported at about $5.5 billion. Shareholders approved the deal on September 3, 2026.

The acquisition is expected to add about 3% to ABB's revenues. Closing is expected in the first half of 2027, subject to regulatory approvals.
